The city of Aventura has established itself as an exclusive urban region surrounded by tropical landscapes where water runs along the elegant skyscrapers and luxurious family homes. It is located nineteen kilometers north of Miami, right in the center of the metropolitan area of South Florida.

A Brief history

Adventure was once a swamp submerged off the coast of Miami Beach, but in the seventies, Miami was a growing city, and Miami Beach was already a small island filled with residences, shops and parks. When the Soffer family tried  to transform a large part of  the land in 1971, he encountered a difficult situation. Miami Beach did not have enough space, so they bought a marshland of 317 hectares just north of Miami Beach and imported land to build their property. This way they built the area now known as Adventure, a tropical neighborhood that houses a luxury shopping mall, beautiful homes, condominiums with incredible views  of the sea.

Its Golf Courses

Golf enthusiasts can not miss the Turnberry Isle Golf Club . It has two fields: Soffer and Miller. Originally designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr., both 18-hole courses were reinterpreted by Raymond Floyd. Turnberry Isle is proud to present “the best golf of  Florida, with contoured streets, perspicacious doglegs, undulating greens, perfectly carved bunkers, water features strategically placed and a variety of elevation changes to challenge and captivate the holiday resort guests regardless of their skills “.

The Aventura Mall is located at 9501 Biscayne Boulevard and can be easily accessed from anywhere in Miami. The mega-mall is located just off of I-95 between Miami and Fort Lauderdale.

When you need to take a break from shopping or just because it was time for fun in Aventura you will find theaters to enjoy a movie and popcorn before going walking. On the other hand, if you still have some energy and want to burn some calories you can come to the gym to train or take pilates classes.

Dining options at Aventura Mall go beyond the typical dishes of the shopping centers, but you will also find the classic menus. The food court Adventure has several options and a variety of dishes ranging from Japanese food to comfort food, like ribs, healthy Mediterranean meal or a quick burger. If you have little time or try to see every possible stores, the food court is probably your best option. The Village At Gulfstream Park

Another commercial and entertainment place in Aventura is the Village At Gulfstream Park designed with Mediterranean inspiration, which features world-class art galleries, and exclusive stores with the latest brands designs  and fashion trends.

It is very entertaining to stroll along the lined boulevards with trees and enjoy the friendly central square for children, with beautiful fountains and lush gardens.
